United Family Bo’ao Medical Center Brings New Hope to Cancer Patients

United Family Bo’ao Medical Center officially opened on March 31, 2018. Built upon the Super Hospital platform located in Hainan Bo’ao Lecheng International Medical Tourism Pilot Zone, Bo’ao Center enjoys fast-track approval for latest FDA and EU approved cancer drugs not available in the rest of China, such as highly in-demand inhibitors Pemimumab (PD-1), Attriximab (PD-L1), Olapa (PARP), and ALK. This allows United Family Healthcare to make international standard cancer treatment truly accessible to patients in a cost-effective manner. A number of patients have scheduled their treatment at our Bo’ao Medical Center, after their application for new cancer drugs have been approved.

United Family Healthcare provides patient-centered, comprehensive and multidisciplinary cancer care starting with screening and guiding patients all the way through diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation. A wide range of cancer types, including breast cancer, lung cancer, thymus tumor, stomach cancer, colorectal cancer, kidney cancer, prostate cancer, cervical cancer, thyroid cancer, lymphoma, melanoma, among others, are covered by our services.

Clinical excellence will continue to be the top priority of cancer treatment at Bo’ao Medical Center. All international cancer drugs are procured directly from the original manufacturer to ensure premium quality. Treatment plans are formulated and implemented following the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) guidelines. A team of medical professionals will closely oversee and evaluate the treatment process, monitor potential allergic reactions, and provide detailed guidance for patients throughout the course.

Patients can call New Hope Oncology Center at 010-59277008, Oncology Case Manager Sally Jiang at 15810108704 or our 24hr Service Center at 4008-919191 for more information about the oncology services provided at our Bo’ao Center.

Suitable patients will be scheduled for an appointment with our oncologist at New Hope Oncology Center. The oncologist will provide a comprehensive diagnosis and treatment plan following international guidelines, and communicate the plan in detail with the patient.

If the treatment plan requires cancer drugs that are not yet available in China, the United Family team will make arrangements for patients’ treatment in the Bo’ao Medical Center.

Our Oncology Case Manager will provide support for the patient throughout all procedures, to ensure efficient and comfortable experience.

In 2013, the State Council granted approval to establish Hainan Bo’ao Lecheng International Medical Tourism Pilot Zone, offering preferential policies that include fast-track approval for new drugs, technology, and medical devices. On March 31, 2018, Bo’ao Super Hospital, located in the pilot zone, officially opened. United Family Bo’ao Medical Center opened on the same day in the Hospital, along with several other medical centers led by renowned academicians and professors.
